Summertime Beach Portraits Studio is proud to offer custom artwork. Our professional staff will create your photographic portrait and allow you to choose the height of the print you wish for your artwork. We will then cut the length with an eye for artistic distinction. Please note we do not always center subjects. We do not always have you look at the camera. At our studio we feel that "cheese and grin" pictures are for amateurs. Summertime Beach Portraits Studio captures personality. Perhaps you need a wall portrait for your home or office. Delivery guidelines:
Most orders ship within 6 weeks to 8 weeks depending on retouch requirements. Due to hurricanes, the process could take longer. If we have a weather delay we will keep you informed of the progress. |

Dimitri Zachos: Summertime Beach Portraits Studio is proud to announce a professional association with noted local artist Dimitri Zachos. Mr. Zachos studied art at the prestigious Ringling School of Art and Design and also holds a Master's Degree in Illustration. For six years, he was a tour guide at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. His work has been shown in the Agora Gallery at Broadway and Prince Street and he was a member of the 14th Street Painters, a group that showcased their work annually in New York City. Currently Mr. Zachos enjoys teaching art at the local high school and spending time with family and friends in the local area. He works by commission only for fine art portraits.
Dimitri's Pricing: The fee includes a consultation with Dimitri. The client must purchase an 8"x10" for him to work from. The following are guidelines for pricing. The price is for one person in the image. If there is more than one person, there is an additional fee. Paintings require drying and finishing time. Allow 12 weeks for delivery. To commission a painting half the fee is required when booking, the other half just before delivery.
All paintings are painted with Gamblin professional grade oil colors on canvas.

If a custom size is requested a price increase or reduction of $25 per inch from the original price will be applied. Add $50 to the original price if the client requests a different surface material such as linen or wood instead of canvas.

Policies
Please read and acknowledge with an email that you have read and agree to the policies of this company :
- The studio that is used during the photo shoot is a private beach maintained strictly for use by Summertime Beach Portraits Studio. Subjects must treat the beach studio as if it were an inside studio and conduct themselves as if they were inside a regular place of business. When the shoot is finished, subjects cannot remain at the beach studio for their own enjoyment.
- It is a violation of Florida law to walk on sand dunes or disturb vegetation, even on a private beach. There is a significant fine for picking sea oats. If a violation of this law occurs, the session will be canceled and the deposit will be forfeited.
- Children must be kept under control and must follow photographer's direction during the photo shoot.
- Personal cameras, including video cameras, are not allowed before, during or after the photo shoot. The beach we use is a private beach maintained for my studio.
- No alcohol is allowed on the beach. Please refrain from consuming too much alcohol before coming to the shoot. If subjects arrive in a state of inebriation, the session will be canceled and the deposit will be forfeited.
- This is an outdoor studio. The weather is not under our control. Lightening strikes on the beach are deadly and every year there is a death of someone who did not get off the beach when lightening threatened. In case of threatening weather, the decision to continue the photo shoot rests solely with the photographer . If the session is cancelled, everyone must leave the beach studio. The session fee will be refunded. The photographer's decision is indisputable in this matter.
- We recognize that family reunions are a special time. However, some weeks the weather in Northwest Florida does not cooperate. There is NO indoor studio available for your shoot. There is a risk that the session will be canceled. We will make every effort to reschedule your session. Flexibility on your part is appreciated. If my associate photographer is available I will offer to book your session with him.
- No proof books are available for you to take home. No online viewing is available.
- If additional prints are desired by friends and family, we suggest that you allow them to view yours photographs then place a reorder.
- Due to copyright concerns all sales are final.
- All orders must be paid in full before any printing and processing.
- Cropping and color will be determined by the photographer. If you want a specific crop it must be noted before the photo shot or during the sales presentation.
- All discounts apply only to each individual order, not the total of a large group.
- Images not ordered at the sales presentation will be deleted.
- Images will be available for reorder only through Dec 31 of the year of the shoot.
- Because of differences in monitors, the color of the sky, Gulf of Mexico , and the sand can not be guaranteed to look exactly like the sample photos on the website.
- Seaweed is a natural part of the beach environment and will not be digitally removed from the photos.
- Buildings (condos, beach homes, etc ) are part of the landscape but will be digitally removed for a fee.
- The beach is windy. Some 95% of the time ladies will not be able to wear their hair down. If retouch is required later, it could be expensive. Your choice.
